About Dean

Dean was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He and his wife, Lynn, have been married for over 30 years. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. Woodward’s Bachelor’s degree in Bible is from Columbia International University. He earned his Master of Theology in Pastoral Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary. Beyond ministry, Pastor Woodward’s interests include sports, music, movies and books. His favorite Christian authors include John Ortberg, Philip Yancey, and Tim Keller. His strengths are in preaching and leadership, and his positive and joyful demeanor makes him a friend to many. He is easy to spot in a crowd, since he is 6′ 7″. Questions about Fairfield?
